Welcome back for our 2006-2007 Dinner meeting year!  I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable summer.  We are very excited about the calendar of speakers and topics we have selected for this year.  Our first presentation will be September 12 entitled “How to Make Yourself More Valuable to Your Company.”  In this day of downsizing, we can all use a few tips in this area.

Future meetings can be reviewed by go to our website which is www.pmasb.com

Our goal this year is to generate renewed interest in the value of our dinner meetings.  Nowhere else can you gain valuable knowledge that can be applied the next day for just the cost of a meal!  I hope you can persuade you company management to invest in you and your education.  The meetings offer opportunities for gaining knowledge, discussing solutions to problems you may be having, and most importantly, networking.  Building your circle of contacts is vital to a secure future.  You may meet that one person who may be your next boss or co-worker!

We hope you and you employer will see the value and become a regular attendee on the first Tuesday of each month.  We are working with the local APICS chapter to provide world-class presentations at a very affordable price.  We promise you will not be disappointed with the speakers, topics, facilities, and interaction with your peers.  Together we can rebuild our alliances and strengthen our profession and careers.

I challenge all of you to continue to be life-long learners beyond you daily experiences.
